Thanks for looking!
Its time for spring and what do we like in the spring? We like bees and butterflies. Bees and butterflies are cool. This is all brass with different finishes. The two butterflies are really old (that would be GENUINE VINTAGE BRASS STAMPINGS in marketing speak) and have oxidized themselves into this coppery finish. Its known as gingerbread brass and there isn't much of this left out there. The bees had the coppery finish applied by humans instead of nature. That's a genuine natural 12mm malachite cabochon because spring is when things start getting green and besides it looks really good there surrounded by all that coppery finish. This all adorns a brass filigree in a gun metal finish suspended by an 18" inch chain with a lobster tail clasp. Hand made, as is all of my stuff, and one of a kind.
The chain measures approx 18" with 9" of chain on either side BUT I added a few extra jumprings at the clasp area so you can get another half inch out of it if you need to. The pendant, from the base of the dangling bees to the top of the gunmetal filigree where it meets the chain is 2.5" and it is 2" wide at its widest point.

Not to be confused with green eggs and ham, I bring you green spotted pearls. This beautiful necklace is made of these very cool green spotted shells with an orange backing interspersed with green pearls. All these are dyed of course. To my knowledge, pearls and shells do not come in bright orange and green. Anyway this necklace is amazing! The unusual dye job is striking and I guarantee that people will admire it.
Its approximately 18" in length including the copper toggle clasp at the back -- which I have a picture of at my Etsy site. http://www.etsy.com/listing/69475144/spo
Time distilled to its very essence. How did I do this, you may ask? The recipe is an ancient family secret passed down from from when time began but I will share just a bit of it here. You take 3 time piece faces, mix it with colorized brass, throw in some gears and a small propeller and age 5,000 years. This results in a timely pendant hanging from a simple brass chain with a lobster clasp.
The chain measures 18" long (9 on either side of the clasp). The pendant is approx 2" x 3.25".
This is a stunning steampunk style necklace that will be sure to accent any outfit.

A friend of mine has a cat that is not getting along well with the other cats in her household and she needs to find Lola a better home. My friend lives in West Virginia and will deliver the cat to a place within ~100 miles. Here's a pic of the cat and her plea:
Last fall a trio of stray cats camped out on our door step, hungry and in need of shelter. Being hopelessly insane, my partner and I took in two of the most persistently desperate cats, the orange/white and the tabby. The little black cat wandered in and out and then drifted away at the onset of a harsh winter.
Lola (so dubbed for her coquettish ways) re-appeared this summer, scraggly and emaciated and pregnant. Despite all common sense that dictated taking her to a shelter (a death sentence in my county), we took her in as well and ran her through the whole regimen of spaying, shots, flea eradication. After a few months of good food, she's blossomed:
Any interested parties, please let me know via email which is my full name with middle initial at gmail or just post here
Unfortunately, her former camaraderie with Cricket and Flora has evaporated after a long separation, or perhaps it simply can't survive the current feline population density in our household. Her aggression level with our other 3 cats is going up, rather than down, under the pressure, and the tension level is simply not acceptable. She needs her own home.
Despite her life as a stray (or perhaps because of it), Lola shows no interest in going outside, so she will make a wonderful inside cat. She loves people and is very affectionate, settling into any available lap. She's young enough to still be playful and can be easily entertained with toys.
USD$40 adoption fee to a good home. Spayed, feline-leuk negative, all her shots, and recent flea meds. Will deliver at no additional cost within a 100m radious of our home, which covers Baltimore, Washington DC and points west of there all the way to Winchester, VA.
I want one! This is like the rolls royce of toothbrushes.
I am reposting from Del's blog in order to boost the signal. I am also taking it off friend's only so if you know someone who wants to chime in, feel free to send them this way. Given the limitations of Ramblewood, there are whole areas that are unaccessible to those with disabilities. Given the whole liberal open-to-everyone attitude that most pagany folks have, I think this is a good work Del is doing and something that is long overdue.
Hi! I'm Del! You may know me as the person who brought FSG the great mobility aid known as the Short Bus!
Well - that was just the beginning.
I am compiling a list for the FSA coordinators, the movers and shakers, about all sorts of ways we can make Beltane, Free Spirit Gathering, Fires of Venus, and even Mythical Journeys more disability friendly.
So if you have ideas, thoughts, dreams, complaints, or suggestions, please send them to me at queendelirium at yahoo dot com. I will add them to the list.
Be creative! Think big! I mean, I've already listed "A Wheelchair lift for the pool." I know that may not happen in our lifetimes, but even just making people aware of ways the event isn't truly accessible can be enough, for now. And you never know what may garner enough support for fund raising, or donations, or something falling out of the sky.
So please email your suggestions to me, and I will add them to the mega list.
Thanks for your time and attention!
Send your comments to Del at queendelirium at yahoo dot com. Please do not comment here. Actually I'm going to turn off the ability to do so.
My company needs a Vista Subject Matter Expert and Image builder for one month. If you know someone who fits this description and is looking for contracting work for a month, please let me know here or at debbiesdavis at gmail. I am serious about the EXPERT part. This person must be an expert with Vista Enterprise and use in large enterprise (50K+ users) environments. If its just someone you know that has it on his or her home computer but doesn't fit the rest of it, please don't send that person my way.
